DS AUTOMOBILES RESPONDS TO SECOND COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

  • DS Automobiles announces support for clients and staff ahead of second UK-wide lockdown in response to COVID-19 pandemic
  • Showrooms across England and Wales are closed, but clients will still be able to access DS Automobiles’ virtual, concierge & click and collect services


DS Automobiles, the premium marque within Groupe PSA, has announced measures to ensure it continues to provide clients with a refined and modern service while following government guidelines throughout the nationwide lockdown in England that is set to come into force from Thursday 5th November.  

 

In line with government guidelines, all DS sales showrooms will be closed to physical visits inside across England from Thursday 5th November. Our Retailer in Wales that has been closed since Friday 23rd October and is set to reopen after a two-week ‘firebreak’ on Monday 9th November. Aftersales workshops will remain open to provide DS drivers with essential maintenance and MOT services.

 

As devolved nations are operating lockdown independently, workshops and showrooms will continue to stay open as normal for customers in Scotland and Northern Ireland. However, customers in England and Wales will still be able to benefit from DS’s digital services, with the DS Virtual Showroom continuing to welcome guests from 12-8pm every day to answer any questions about DS, and provide full product demonstrations of the range.

 

Customers who have not been able to place an order on a DS model before closure of showrooms will be able to virtually with the support of the DS team. Later this year, customers will have facilities to configure, personalise and purchase a DS entirely online. 

 

Click and collect, along with home deliveries for those who have made a purchase prior to their local DS store closing, or who have had an order confirmed throughout the lockdown period will be available.  DS Automobiles has adopted the latest hygiene and social distancing standards for its vehicle delivery programme. To ensure the safety of its staff and customers, protective covers are used on the steering wheel, gear stick, seat, and floor mats, while the control panel and steering wheel will be disinfected upon delivery.
